Purchase Lessons   
Important Information About Purchasing Lessons!

If you are purchasing your first lesson you will need to set up a BanjoTrain user account before making your purchase. There is no need to have a user account if you are not purchasing a lesson!

You will be sent an email with a link to activate your account. Click on the activation link in the email to return to the BanjoTrain site.

I suggest you login immediately and change your password. Default passwords are random letters and numbers. It's easy to change your password to something you can easily remember. All passwords are encrypted. I can't see or change them for you.

I use PayPal to process lesson purchases. You don't need a PayPal account to make a purchase, though you may want to have one anyway.

You will see a line on the first PayPal screen saying “If you do not currently have a PayPal account” followed by a “Click here” button. Click this button if you don't want to set up a PayPal account.

It's very important that you include the same email address that you used for your BanjoTrain account. Otherwise your purchase will not be correctly credited to your account.

Lessons can be purchased either individually or by group. I will be adding additional lessons in the near future. These will include topics such as Fiddle Tunes, Melodic Style and Backup.

Playing in the Key of F using G Tuning. Learn to “translate” songs and tunes from G to the key of F. Licks in F and playing up the neck. Songs include Roll in my Sweet Baby's Arms, Man of Constant Sorrow, Salty Dog Blues, Wreck of the Old 97, and Wildwood Flower.

Introduction to Melodic Banjo. Learn the basic principles of Melodic Style. Start with how to adapt the G scale to create “melodic licks”. Using simple tunes you'll learn to apply the basic principles to increasingly difficult fiddle tunes and breaks usually played using rolls. Examples include Buffalo Gals, June Apple, Old Joe Clark and Lonesome Road Blues.
